Rose and Crown
WISBECH, CAMBRIDGESHIRE



The Rose and Crown in Wisbech has existed as an Inn for over 500 years. This pub and hotel is said to be the location of a number of spirits, the most notable of which is that of a former housekeeper who is sighted wearing a long black dress with keys around her waist. It is believed that she haunts the top floor of the hotel. The spirit of an old highwayman is also reputedly said to haunt the ground floor of the building. Other tales of paranormal activity include one of spirit coaches with horses jangling through the courtyard.
