Brannigan's Nightclub
GREATER MANCHESTER
A disused church occupies the upper floors of Brannighans nightclub in Manchester. The building was formerly a Methodist Church run by the Rev.
Samuel Collier who is responsible for much of the reported poltergeist activity that takes place. One theory is that as the building was once a
Methodist Church, where the use of alcohol was not encouraged, it may be that Rev. Collier is protesting against it’s current use as a nightclub
through the various actions that have been reported. History also shows that in 1819, the year of the Battle of Peterloo, a number of people were
killed on the site during a protest about tax increases.
