Tudor House
SOUTHAMPTON, HAMPSHIRE

The Tudor House museum is one of Southampton's older buildings, built in 1495. Over the centuries it has been a family home and an artist's studio, and housed businesses including a dye-house and a bookbinder. The museum allows visitors to explore the history of this fascinating building through the lives of some of the people who lived here, and enjoy a stroll in the authentically reconstructed 16th century Tudor Knot Garden. It is widely believed to be haunted, and Staff speak of one room where Dogs refused to enter and another room in which many people, including members of the public, have had paranormal experiences.
