Paranormal Activity Categories
The Insignificant Category represents phenomena that could be described as 'ambiguous' and in cases are highly subjective, unable to be corroborated or not simple to scientifically verify (i.e. Touch, Temperature Changes, Shadows, Smells and Sounds). These occurrences could potentially be explained by normal everyday phenomena. The Significant Category represents activity that is not simple to objectively explain. This includes more structured phenomena or complex interactions where some form of basic evidence can be verified. Also included are those instances where the investigation uncovers what appears to be a particularly "malevolent" presence. The Severe Category represents phenomena that has a high probability of paranormal origins, and can be objectively verified. This includes part or full manifestation (caught on camera or corroborated by more than one witness) and poltergeist activity either caught on camera, witnessed first hand or clearly verified as unexplainable.
