Brief Episode Synopsis

The investigation began in the upstairs bedrooms where Derek connected with a lady's energy who he felt was active in the building, believing her to be a Countess connected to a man called Colonel James (Grahme). He also felt a link with the Howard family (verified), and also sees a black mongrel dog scurrying around. Moving downstairs he linked with a woman, the name Bellingham, and again Colonel James. In the Purple Room he suggested a link with a name beginning with 'de', who were associated with this room and the earliest parts of the building (verified), later revealing the family to be 'de Redman'. Derek also felt the passageway was extremely active with multiple energies passing each other, one of which he believed to be the de Redman woman, otherwise known as the Grey Lady. He also connected with her energy in the Gardens, where he felt she was aware of other energies around the property but chose to ignore them. Derek then felt pulled towards the tower, where he revealed that a curse had once been placed on the building by a gypsy woman, later to be lifted after the birth of a white fawn (a known tale). The vigils commenced in the corridor with Yvette, Derek and guest investigator David Scanlan who made use of a thermal imaging camera. After Derek had felt his jacket tugged, some anomalous EMF meter readings were picked up. Meanwhile in Bishop Ken's Room a slow moving orb had been captured on camera. Rick and Karl had also ventured into the gardens, where they were alerted by a number of strange noises, while Karl felt something prod him in the back. Back in the corridor however activity seemed to be rising as further EMF readings were captured just as Derek sensed movement, believing to see the outline of a woman. At this point Yvette describes an icy cold blast of air, and Derek's body temperature drops to 17 degrees. Yvette then decides on a lone vigil in the corridor, and initially she hears a creak as if a door has opened. Upon investigating she finds the bathroom door ajar, and closes it. Only moments later the same creak is heard only for Yvette to find the door has opened a second time. After closing it again she waits a little while, only for the door to open for a third time, at which point she makes a hasty retreat. Meanwhile further light anomalies are captured again in Bishop Ken's Room during a séance.
