| Location Background | |
Part two of the Ruth Ellis investigation takes the Most Haunted team to Fred Batt's South London Caesars Nightclub. The largest club in London, Caesars was closed for many years before current owner Fred Batt re-opened the club eight years ago, at which point strange things started to occur. The club was infamous in the 1950's through its connections with London’s underworld, most notibly as a local haunt for the notorious Kray twins. Staff have reported unidentified footsteps along corridors, dark shapes seen moving across rooms, doors opening on their own, and a ghostly woman's figure who is believed to be 1950s socialite Ruth Ellis. The 28-year-old nightclub hostess, who worked there when it was known as The Locarno, was hanged in 1955 for killing her lover and racing driver David Blakely as he left the Magdala pub in South Hill Park, Hampstead, north London. Two shots were fired at Blakely before he collapsed on the pavement. Ellis then fired the remaining four bullets into him. Apparently he apparition has been regularly seen at the club. |

| Brief Episode Synopsis | |
The investigation begins as always with Derek’s walk-around, where he makes mention of the notorious Kray Twins as well as a rival gang referred to as The Richardsons. Derek then connects with Ruth Ellis who makes reference to the gun she used to kill David Blakeley and that contrary to reports she only fired 3 bullets, not 4. Ruth confesses to the killing but reveals that David and herself have reunited in the spirit world and have their love back again. Moving to the dressing room area of the building (just recently refurbished) Derek refers to a young girl that had lost her life there, suggesting that she was responsible for much of the activity on that level such as opening and closing doors. Within one of the dressing rooms Derek mentions that the Dark Arts would have been practiced by some in this area, at which point some loud bangs are heard from the roof space above. These noises continue, and upon investigation to the flat roof outside the team cannot find any suitable evidence to suggest that these are being caused naturally. During the vigils Karl picks up light anomalies (orbs) while in the dressing rooms, specifically at the point when he asks if anyone is there. Other than that no other paranormal activity is captured. |
