| Brief Episode Synopsis | |
The investigation begins on the lower floors where Derek connects with the spirit of Martha, a former housekeeper, who he feels is also followed by two little boys from the Pritchard family, one of which stands in the entrance to the stairs. He also connects with Anne and Colonel Edward Pritchard especially after entering the Colonel's Study, who he feels is in visitation. Other Pritchard’s who also visit include Anne, Jane, Elizabeth and Tom. He then suggests he can hear the voice of Mary Pritchard, and also feels they choose not to associate with another spirit who resides on the stairwell, David Lewis. It is known that the Lewis and Pritchard families feuded for many years. Moving into the Birthing Room Derek believes that Martha and one of the boys are responsible for rocking the crib, while he also senses a man with a false leg who he feels can be heard making a knocking sound on the wooden floor when he walks. Derek also connects with the spirit of King Charles who he felt visited the manor. Moving to Night-Vision the team investigate the Great Hall where Derek senses that another Lewis, this time Richard, is confronted by Gladys Pritchard regarding the abduction of a young girl called Sarah, and much anger emanates towards him from the Pritchard’s. Derek then suggests that he feels Martha had been murdered, at which point they seem to hear a noise like a child running or footsteps. Derek then names the man with the false leg as James, believing him to be responsible for Martha's death. Karl then believes he saw a shadow from the adjoining room. During the vigils a single bright light anomaly is caught on camera, while in the bedroom Yvette captures another orb and hear strange creaking from a sideboard. In the Birthing Room tow further orbs are captured floating in front of Richard, while Yvette then hears three loud bangs coming from upstairs. |
