Brief Episode Synopsis

The investigation began in the Great Hall where Derek immediately connected with the spirit of Margaret Radclyffe believing that she starved herself to death after a devastating loss. Moving on to the Tudor Kitchen Derek felt that a young boy had been slaughtered here, and his remains had been buried under the stone floor. He also felt that this barbaric act had been covered up for many years through a conspiracy of former owners of the Hall. The night vigils began with both Stuart and Karl undertaking solo vigils in different rooms. Stuart experienced a number of strange noises in response to his attempts to make contact, while Karl not only experienced noises but also orbs appeared near a fire place on 3 occasions after asking for a response. During a vigil involving Ian Lawman, he was initially captured on infra-red with an orb moving away from him, while shortly after an unexplained shadow passed briefly in front of the camera, blocking the shot momentarily. Ian then joined Yvette in a Scrying experiment, where they stared at their reflections after pouring water across a large mirror. Yvette was convinced that she could see a strange faceless image staring back at her, however this could easily be put down to the psychology of staring continuously at a mirror. The night concluded with an attempt at table-tipping, where the team appeared to make contact with Margaret Radclyffe. After the table had moved on a number of occasions in relation to the team's questions, Ian allegedly helped Margaret's spirit move over to the light.
