Deep in the heart of historic Lancashire, at the northern most tip of the Pennines, lies Pendle Hill. It is a focus for unusual ruins, ghostly presences, stone circles and unexplained paranormal phenomena including UFO sightings. Most famously the region saw one of the most brutal instances of witch hunting when ten or so local men and women were hanged. The whole area is steeped in paranormal activity, and some experts believe Pendle Hill itself is the source.

NIGHT 1 of the investigation began at Clitheroe Castle where Derek connected with the spirits of 3 cavaliers as well as a man he felt used to own the castle. This man apparently brought leprosy back to the castle and passed it on to a woman and her child, whose spirits were also present. At the 2nd location, Church Brow, Derek sensed a distressed woman called Alice who he felt had been strangled. Then an extraordinary event took place as Derek believed he saw the spirit of an Alien being, who had possibly died in the location prior to the building, and he felt that there were others like him. Yvette experienced her coat being tugged from behind, while a number of rumbling sounds were also heard. David Wells sensed a little boy as well as a dark male presence. Finally in the Trinity Centre Derek connected with children who had been killed, and felt an link with the boy from Church Brow. A 'Table Tipping' experiment was also conducted, with slight movements occurring.
NIGHT 2 began at Lower Wellhead Farm where Derek appeared to be possessed by the infamous Pendle Witch Elizabeth Southerns (aka Demdike), while activity included a door pulling out of Cath's hand (who also later felt a blow to her head), strange noises and an unknown face at the window. Moving to Bull Hole Farm Derek sensed the witches were following them and underwent the sensation of being hanged. Concluding at Tindale Farm there was a sense of foreboding and expectation as Derek sensed 9 witches. They began divination with a glass on the table, appearing to communicate through Demdike as the glass and the table moved and tipped. Then various team members started to suffer strange physical phenomena, as Stuart collapsed feeling strangulation followed by Cath having to leave and Jon being hit across the head before also collapsing. Karl suffered noticeably, eventually collapsing, and the séance concluded with the glass flying off the table and smashing.
NIGHT 3 The final night took place at Waddow Hall, where Derek connected with former owner Richard Tempest as well as a Monk who he felt used to assist witches in their evil pursuits. He then felt the presence of the witches returning, and was told that Anne Shephard had arrived with Demon Dogs. Derek then became possessed by the spirit of Peg O'Nell recounting her experience of being drowned down a well by Mistress Starkie. Shortly after David Wells collapsed while alone in a room, suggesting that the presence of Anne Shephard had forced him to shriek with anger and smash a mirror on the table. The team then attempted Glass Divination with marginal results while Stuart felt he saw a number of flashing lights. The night culminated outside at Peg's Well where Derek felt she had resolved her differences with The Mistress, while Yvette and Derek noticed a shape in the woods, believed to be that of notorious highwayman Ned King.
